*sigh* I feel like kicking a puppy!! grrrrrrrrrrrr. Whenever I am working on my website, it seems that I get about 15 to 30 minutes of work done, and then the upload stops. "Welcome to the Land of 404". bleh. I create the pages in EditPad on my machine and then upload the changes and newest graphics, but it is slow and I always end up holding my breath to see if a file makes it to the server. And I pay for this service. Oh well, such is life.
BTW, we made it into and out of the Prison in one piece. :)

We take our Holiday Sing Show to the Prison tonight. This always makes me nervous. Usually I leave all my jewelry and keys and *everything* at home, but this year I am driving, so I will carry my car keys. We are wearing our costumes this year, because the Prison personnel think the inmates would like it. I don't know if *I* like the idea, I have a Marine uniform. I'm going to have to nearly strip to get through the metal detector, and I just feel funny wearing a military uniform, carrying our colors in a medium-security prison.
Anyway, back to updating the website.
Thanks for stopping by.

Added The Hackers' Manifesto to the site this morning. Don't know if I like the background with the text color. I might change it later.
For the last three mornings the temperature has been 22C at 5:30 when I get up and feed the cats. BRRR.
The "edit" feature is not working very well, I can't fix the html error in yesterday's post. I will keep trying, though.

Michael is better. He is, however, spending the day at home with me.
Found the Modern Hackers' DeskReference online. :) Currently formatting a copy for my site. EditPad is working nicely, lots of extras.
Cannot get onto the server to update my website. That happens a lot. So, I just keep working in EditPad, and practicing XHTML. I will have
to change the headers and covert the rest of the pages. Somewhere around here I have a copy of The Hacker's Manifesto. It will be fun to
format it into a nice-looking document suitable for print and download.
I have been slowly re-building the site after "Crash and Burn" thanks to Web Archive. A very cool site.
Nearly any page you remember is there!

Hello.
I have decided to go ahead and start logging. :) This from the person who will not use a webcam.
Last day of classes yesterday, partied in Kena Tyler's Human Relations class. The Culinary Arts students brought popcorn shrimp and baklava, I brought Ro-Tel dip and chips. Later UnTamed and I sat in the old Reach Computer Lab and studied xhtml and the thermodynamics of valance shells and the boundaries of God. And the finer points of SQL Server 7.0 vs 6.5.
Poured rain for hours last night, I will have to walk to the pond and see how the stream is running.
Thanks for stopping by.
