Personal Note Today: I received a copy of my 30-Year Reunion Directory which I was unable to attend. First thought: Where did 30 years go? We cannot have been out of school for 3 decades. I mean after all, we are young vibrant active people!
Second thought: Of the 125 people who composed my graduating class, there are 44 names here. That hurts.
Next thought: I could hear each voice loud and clear in the answers they gave. Memories are strong things. And now I remember why I am a terror to the students when I substitute at school. They think they are cool and clever but they are rank amateurs compared to the, er, um, "individuals" with whom I attended High School. Heh. Bulldogs rule!

I have bought a new edition of "The Rapture Question" since the copy I was working from was borrowed. I noticed that some of the author's earlier statements have been modified. He has begun to answer the questions asked by Post-Trib people. I don't quite know how to feel about this. One the one hand, clearly our questions are hitting home or he would have been able to ignore them. Does he really believe what he writes now? Or is he simply squirming under scrutiny? If he keeps revising how soon will his position be Post-Trib? It makes it rather hard to argue with an opponent who changes position! By argue, I mean to meet idea with idea in a civilized tone with graciousness on both sides.
I have acquired a copy of C. S. Lewis' "Screwtape Letters" read by Joss Ackland, to which I am listening as I write. Mr. Lewis understood argument with grace.
