Musical thoughts

I believe that my iPod is the definition of random. Currently on it is music from Beethoven, Willie Nelson, Band of Skulls, Rammstein, Phil Collins, Fleetwood Mac, Moby, Alabama 3, Atticus Ross, The Chemical Brothers, Ramin Djawadi, John Fogerty, Falco, Nickelback, Johnny Cash, The Clash, Don Henley, Mannheim Steamroller, Band from TV, Rascal Flatts, Spinnerette, Santana and assorted other artists and composers. I suspect that my taste in music might be different than some other peoples' because I am a musician; I play and sing in front of audiences. When I hear music I am listening to the different parts and mentally playing the various instruments, analyzing the harmonies and rhythms, and writing the score in my mind. I don't care who does the piece, if it has musical interest I listen to it.
