I bought a new laptop last December and am completely satisfied with it. However, when I read reviews of laptops on any tech magazine site nothing from that line is ever included. Mine is perfectly functional, does everything I ask of a work unit and sure didn't cost anything like $1,400.00 that most of the "general purpose" laptops that they show do. So I wonder, did I get the only good unit from this company or do they have to pay for product placement on a supposedly neutral list?

The home desktop model that I am writing this on has a very few issues, but initially cost less than $400.00 including a very nice 24" screen. I have since maxed the RAM and added a 1GB video card, upgrades that cost less than $200.00. Again, this model is never on a "Top Desktop List" with anybody, did I get lucky twice, or is there something not quite kosher about those review lists?
